Hail to the Chieftain – March 2016 (and beyond)

We finally found a new home in Ohio!  Then we drove it home to Indiana!

Say ‘hello’ to our 35-foot 1999 Winnebago Chieftain!

We bought it in early March, and we’re all moved in!  It’s amazing how quickly it feels like home.

I wrote that in March…

…and then I forgot to post it!

So here’s some more pictures of our life on the new rig!

A recent drawing lesson had us do houses.  Nadia drew hers with wheels!  Yes!!!

I’ll leave you with this.  A friend gave this to me when we lived in the farmhouse.  We took it to Franklin and then into the Pace Arrow Vision.  After the accident (you can see the scar in the lower right corner), we moved it into the pole barn and to my sister-in-law’s place.  Then to the Bopp’s Basement.  Now, it’s here in our Chieftain.

Home is where you park it.

  1. So glad to be able to read about your adventures again. Did Nadia sew that bunting?!? It’s so pretty – as are her owl and cupcake stuffies. And is that a Winnebago Lego kit Isaiah is holding? How fun is that! Clearly you’re enjoying your new home. Everyone looks terrific. You guys are an inspiration. 🙂
